De-Lux has operated in the field of testing and repairing emergency lighting equipment for over thirty years.   Our aim is to provide a personal level of service whilst offering value for money for each and every customer.
We have developed procedures and strategies to repair equipment which fails to meet statutory performance standards under test.  Most other organisations working in the field rarely have the expertise to successfully repair faults therefore they supply and install complete replacement fittings.  In most cases this is not necessary and it is a very expensive approach.  As specialists, we have all the necessary replacement parts to enable us to repair most makes and models of emergency lights and exit signs at a significant saving to you.  Why replace the entire unit when all that is required is a new battery or inverter.  A new unit will cost around $250.00 whereas replacing the battery or inverter will cost between $100.00 and $160.00.  The actual casing and electronic components of the units will last for many more years than the battery will.
Our quotations are based on worst case scenarios and rarely does the actual cost reach our quoted prices.  The reason for this is our quotations are prepared using set prices for each unit, however there are many different types of batteries used and each battery has a different cost.  You will only ever be charged for the actual material used and time spent repairing the emergency lighting equipment.
